The year 2019 was not a very good and productive year for KwaTsaDuza Times. This was because of a bad deal with a web hosting company that resulted in KTD Times halting its production for six months.
When the site launched in 2018, things were good, in fact great. The community was talking about the new kid on the block, KwaTsaDuza Times. A local online newspaper, one of its kind, and very young. Giving some publications a bit of a scare.
This newspaper gave young aspiring journalist an opportunity to write great articles and have them published for the entire world to see. This was brilliant until JoyHost, our service provider, decided to disappear after being paid.
We paid the monthly subscription but had our site disconnected anyway. Our CEO made every attempt to get the site back up, but this proved to be a fight that he wouldn't win. It took us six months to get relaunch our newspaper and we eventually did, with the help of Wix.
This site is temporarily a blog and will grow step by step, bit by bit, to the site that we dream of daily.
Here's to a new beginning and many more milestones.
